What is a Launch coaster?

Commonly written as LSM or LIM, launch coasters have practically taken over the roller coaster industry. Their adrenaline pumping push of the riders as it sends them hurling through the track makes any ride feel just a bit more exciting. LSM/LIM are the most common types of launch coasters nowadays, as they’re the most efficient of the types of launches that can be used on primarily steel coaster tracks. Ranking of Six Flags New England coasters

I had the privilege of travelling to Agawam, Massachusetts on a school trip for my physics class to do a lab and ride some infamous roller coasters. I, of course, am a big fan of Six Flags, and believe that there are definitely some amazing rides that the parks exhibit. New Tron coaster coming to Florida + Construction updates

Based on the infamous coaster that opened in Disneyland Shanghai in 2016, Disney World Orlando is opening a Tron Lightcycle Power Run coaster of their own. The coaster will be a Vekoma make, same to that of the Shanghai sibling coaster. While there are no inversions, the ride is extremely immersive, as the trains hold the riders as if they were riding a motorbike, as seen with the light bikes in the movie, though there are normal sit down trains for those of whom are unable to ride in the motorbike fashion. Batman and Robin: The Chiller, DEFUNCT

Made and operated in the 1990s, Batman and Robin: The Chiller was a coaster created by Premier rides for Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. The ride showcased two interlooping tracks, one themed to DC superhero Batman, and the other to his sidekick Robin. Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park

A new indoor theme park is coming to the east coast later this year, all themed around the universe of Nickelodeon. It will be another version of the Nickelodeon Universe that is currently in the Mall of America in Minnesota, though this time in the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Guardians of the Galaxy coaster to come to Disney’s Epcot

Disney has officially begun the start of the Marvel takeover within the parks, as the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout opened in Disneyland California, as well as the Ant Man and the Wasp: Nano Battle opened in Disneyland Hong Kong. New Harry Potter Attraction to come to Universal Studios Orlando

Among many new rides and attractions coming to Orlando theme parks this summer, one of the most anticipated coming is opening at Universal Studios Orlando this upcoming summer. “Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure” opens on June 13th of this year, being yet another installment to the highly loved and appreciated “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” that has spread across Universal’s two parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
